A dozen friends who have helped me with my project statements for the carrier project received these stitched paper prototypes. The imagery is from digitally printed tests, sampled from mixed media drawings and lines excerpted from maps. Enclosed was a copy of the Ursula Le Guin carrier bag theory of fiction essay, an inspiration for my ongoing inquiry about carrying.
